Certification Requirements

Living Wage Certification Requirements
  • Payment of a Living Wage of $11.50/hour without benefits and $10.55/hour with benefits.
  • Health Insurance meets state standards or employees reimbursed at least 50% cost of health insurance
  • No more than 50% of employees to work part time unless the employees have requested part time.
  • Employer exemptions to meeting the living wage requirement for minors, interns, apprentices, temporary or project-based employees, or new hires (not to exceed 90 days).  Employer shall submit in writing the exempted status of these employees to the certification committee for review.
